Things we think you need to know when families split up.

1 It is NOT your fault.
2 We know you feel bad. If it’s safe for you to talk to them, tell your parents how you feel.
3If it is not safe for you to talk to your parents about how you feel or what is going on at home, find a safe person to speak to.
4It’s not your job to make your parents feel better about the family break up.
5It’s OK to love both your parents.
6It’s not your job to be the parent.
7 You don’t have to be strong all the time.
8You’re a good person. It’s OK to be angry some times, try to breathe when it gets too much.
9You deserve to be loved.
